SHAPE AND PATTERN

(2D PATTERN)

Designed my pattern and cut my tiles from black or white paper.I decided what is figure and what is ground. When I am happy with my pattern design, glue my tiles onto my white paper.

ABSRACTION AND BALANCE (3D CUBE)

I do not know what is it but I saw it in class. I choosed this photo.

drew shapes from anything I saw using viwe-finder then design a tile.

drew the patterns using basıc 4-square patterns by tracing my tile.

3D CUBE

Designed 3d cube model using 2d pattern. Firstly, I was inspired by the vertical and horizontal lines. Then when I research for 3d cube I saw art of folding paper. I really wanted to use them in my cube. So, I began to resize the model's vertical and horizontal lines by folding paper but I need to improve cube because of lines was thin. Therefore, I've developed a thicker line and making it stronger.
